While reversing my car out of a driveway into a public road,my car hit with another car,who has just backed out and about to move forward?
There are minor damages on both car.The other driver is holding me responsible for damage.Is it my fault ?

it is almost impossible to say that who is at fault in an accident unless there is evidence like a vehicle coming on speed in wrong entry zone etc. etc. In you case also primafacie both reversed without noticing each other. In event of insurance claims, there are knock to knock agreements between insurance companies that instead of raising a third party claim, each insurance company shall pay the claim of insured vehicle. But a vehicle owner has right to claim the TP claim for property damage (his car), if he files a police complaint and proves that it was your fault and then court decides the loss and contributory negligence to the same.
